Teammate Gino Sandoval, while facing some challenges, displayed resilience and determination throughout Saturday's races. Starting from P19 in qualifying, Sandoval fought his way up to an impressive P11 in the prefinal, ultimately finishing the day with a respectable P13 in the final race.

Sunday brought a new level of excitement as both Martin and Sandoval made a strategic decision to swap their KA100 engines for the Rok VLR, unlocking a significant increase in performance. The decision proved to be a game-changer for Martin, who improved to a P10 qualifying position on Sunday. He then made his way to an impressive P7 in the prefinal before securing victory in the final race.

However, luck was not on Sandoval's side on Sunday, despite the engine change. Starting from P17 in qualifying, Sandoval faced difficulties in the prefinal, ultimately finishing in P25 in both the prefinal and final races.

Adding to the excitement of the weekend was newcomer Arul Venkatesh, making his regional-level debut in the Rok Shifter Masters class. Despite his limited experience at this level, Venkatesh showcased remarkable skill and adaptability. His results on Saturday were impressive, with P9 in qualifying, P8 in the prefinal, and an impressive P6 finish in the final race. On Sunday, Venkatesh continued to impress with a P8 qualifying, P10 in the prefinal, and another P10 finish in the final race.

Venkatesh's transition to regional-level competition was aided by his extensive practice and preparation, particularly in getting accustomed to the power of the unrestricted Rok Shifter. Coming from the 125 Shifter Limited class at Rok Sonoma, Venkatesh demonstrated a remarkable ability to adapt to new challenges and environments.

As the dust settles on the weekend's events, Chris Martin's dominance remains unquestioned. With his strategic brilliance and exceptional skill, Martin has firmly established himself as the one to watch in the Challenge of the Americas series.
